are you looking for a ndis participant with psychosocial disability to work with in the cockburn area?
dayshift support team members wanted!
FEMALE & MALE SUPPORT WORKERS
Our Participant is not far south of the river, in his late 30’s, resides alone in his own unit, and lives an active life with arthritis as well as a psychosocial disability. He is a gentle giant with a sharp mind, and aspires to live a full and exciting life. He is looking for very chill, emotionally mature support workers to support him with community access and light domestic things.
He relates well to Aussies and Kiwis, and has been part of our family for nearly 5 years. He is looking for some companionship, and someone who enjoys a bit of adventure, the outdoors, music and sports.
You will be providing support to a kind soul, with some very loud voices inside - voices that he responds to on the outside. You’ll need a non-judgemental approach to psychosocial disability and the ability to express firm but fair boundaries. We help you with all this, too.
If you’re confident, grounded, gentle with an open heart and mind, then you’ll get along great!
Our Participant relies on his team to work together to ensure needs around his disability are met. The support team and specialist support coordinator have a solid, long term relationship with his Guardians which is precious to all of us.
A sense of adventure is required, and we will provide on the job training.
As we are looking for a natural fit, there is a paid intro plus buddy shifts to ensure both our Participant and you are comfortable with each other and the support involved.
The Participant pays above award.
